Primary Malignant Fibrous Histiocytoma Arise on the Mesenteric Border of the Jejunum

Abstract
|
|
|
Malignant fibrous histiocytoma was introduced in the early 1960s to describe a well known sarcoma of soft tissue, the tumors arise on the extremities or in the retroperitoneum and are located adjacent to deep fascia or within skeletal muscle.
Local
recurrence and distant metastasis are very common. Intraabdominal Malignant fibrous histiocytoma are very rare and only several cases were reported till now.
We report one case of intraabdominal primary malignant fibrous histiocytoma in 21-year-old female patient who had growing nontender mass of left lower abdomen. The presenting site was the mesenteric border of the proximal jejunum about 60 cm
below
the
ligament of Treitz.
